It is developed and produced by Autodesk Media and Entertainment.   3ds Max is a software for 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and visualization to create stunning scenes, detailed characters and bring realistic scenes to life.  It is mainly used to create game assets, in combination with a game engine such as Unreal, Unity, Cry, etc...
